A real endeavour, shaped by you As the Principal Engineer, you will support our client, a key Defence agency, in guiding the strategic development and implementation of change management strategies for a critical program of work.
This program aims to deliver tangible outcomes and drive meaningful change in redefining approaches within the capability lifecycle.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
Oversee the digital environment project, ensuring it aligns with organisational goals and effectively coordinates team efforts. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with strategic objectives. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to drive the overall vision and direction of the initiative. Provide strategic leadership and direction, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and developing strategic roadmaps. Drive the integration of advanced technologies and innovations, ensuring they are effectively incorporated into the project. Navigate regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring all aspects of the project adhere to relevant standards and guidelines. A real endeavour, driven by you Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
Proven experience in managing large-scale and complex projects, particularly within government or Defence sectors. Demonstrated strategic leadership with a strong understanding of project management and digital transformation methodologies. Highly skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Expertise in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and developing strategic roadmaps for project execution. Experience with integrating advanced technologies and driving digital innovation within project environments. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to government and defence settings. You must have the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance. More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.
