This role requires a high degree of independence, originality, and expertise in managing and integrating Advanced Energy Management Systems within a critical operational technology environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSpearhead a team of engineers in solving intricate engineering problems related to AEMSDrive continuous improvement and cost-effectiveness through innovative technologiesLead technical expertise delivery for AEMS-related projects, including design reviews and testingOversee development of technical standards and integration of new technologiesDirect AEMS and operational technology training programsEnsure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirementsProvide advanced engineering oversight and address complex control system issuesEstablish engineering standards for use across the organizationLead SCADA and AEMS-related work for expedited projects and emergency changesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)Extensive experience in power systems control environmentsEssential ExperienceProven expertise in control systems design, maintenance, and commissioningStrategic management of transmission control systemsInnovation in work methodologies for efficiency, reliability, and safetyLeadership of high-performance engineering teamsProficiency with SCADA data communication technologiesStakeholder collaboration and consensus-building skillsComprehensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Operational TechnologyIn-depth understanding of National Electricity Rules (NER) and Australian Energy Regulator (AER) requirementsThis contract role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise to a critical area of energy management.
