Position: Principal Engineer - Cloud & DevOpsLocation: Melbourne CBD, Hybrid + FlexibleSalary: $180,000 - $200,000 + super + BenefitsAbout the Role:Digital Transformations have been few and far between this year, but our financial services client is looking to kick off a complete re-platforming of their Digital services. Would you like to work for a business that provides autonomy? Where you get to implement actual design decisions on the Cloud Architecture and help deliver them instead of getting bogged down in meetings? We're looking for a Principal Engineer to do just that.Responsibilities:This is your chance to shape the direction of the AWS Cloud platform, re-designing the landing zones, setting best practices from the ground up, making technology decisions, and coaching your engineering team. You will lead a team of 4 permanent Cloud Engineers and 4-8 contractors/consultants.What You'll Need:Experience in a corporate environment within financial services, comfortable navigating and influencing technical strategy among both technical and non-technical leadership.
