Strive for project success, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to best practices while ensuring value for money. • Apply and implement all relevant standards, policies, guidelines with consideration and application of engineering principles and risk assessment to inform robust decision-making to ensure value-for -money outcomes and compliance with legal requirements related to the design. • Certify schemes as a registered professional engineer as required. Mandatory qualifications and conditions • A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalence which is assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks. • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for appointment to the position. • Current holder of a Class C driver licence. Desirable requirements • Significant years of experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team to successfully plan, develop and deliver large infrastructure projects and programs Applications to remain current for 12 months.
