This position coordinates the delivery of the City's electrical projects and manages the engagement of electrical consultants for specialist delivery of some services.Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager within our Infrastructure & Assets team, your responsibilities would primarily include:Lead and develop electrical designs and specifications for the City's lighting and electrical projects;Develop project briefs including scope, budgets and programs (MS Project), liaising with other departments and stakeholders as required;Ensure the team has a workforce which has the capabilities and skills needed to achieve the City's objectives;Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with all relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and all other relevant Council policies and procedures, and other frameworks.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will possess:Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering;Experience in leading a team, and in the development of electrical infrastructure design criteria, standards and specific functions;Minimum 10 years' experience with electrical and lighting industries that deliver civil, electrical and landscape assets in a public environment;Experience in undertaking procurement activities, tendering and contract management.If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.Above all, you will live our values of Commitment, Teamwork, Courage and Respect that allow us to come together to lead and support the community.Please view the attached Application Pack to learn more about the role and working at the City.EligibilityTo be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:A right to work in Australia (e.g.
