The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving excellence in ecological services, mentoring a team of dedicated professionals, and fostering strong relationships with a diverse client base. This leadership role not only requires exceptional ecological expertise but also a strategic mindset to steer projects that impact both local ecosystems and community well-being.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and develop a team of ecologists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Conduct and oversee complex ecological assessments and environmental impact studies.Provide expert advice on flora and fauna conservation to various stakeholders, including government bodies, private sector clients, and community groups.Ensure compliance with environmental laws and policies.Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.Represent the company in public forums, workshops, and conferences, enhancing the company's profile and impact in the ecological sector.Qualifications:A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ecological consulting or a related area.Demonstrated expertise in the management of flora and fauna assessments, habitat conservation planning, and biodiversity strategies.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ecological survey techniques and data analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively negotiating and resolving conflicts.A current driver's license and the willingness to travel as required.If this role sounds like an exciting opportunity, please apply with your CV and our team will be in touch shortly!#J-18808-Ljbffr
