Our client is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their technology services team. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technologies. You will be responsible for continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient development and deployment of software applications. The position offers a flexible hybrid working model with a mix of office and remote work.

What you'll be doing: Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices using Microsoft Azure services.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.Implement secure DevOps practices, integrating security measures throughout the development life-cycle.Develop automation scripts and tools to boost operational efficiency.Monitor and optimise the performance of infrastructure and applications.Lead technical projects.What you'll bring to the role: The ideal candidate for this Principal DevOps Engineer role brings extensive experience in DevOps with a specific focus on Microsoft Azure. Your proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python will be essential for success in this role. You have a proven track record of managing CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps and are familiar with container tools like Kubernetes and AKS. Your strong analytical skills make you adept at troubleshooting complex issues. Above all else, your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
