Due to unprecedented growth within the City of Logan, Logan Water is seeking a Principal Development Assessment Engineer.The ideal candidate will have a combination of the below qualities:An excellent communicator, negotiator and influencer with an excellent understanding of the development industry with the ability to negotiate complex water and wastewater Infrastructure Agreements and coach Senior Engineers to enhance development outcomes.Someone with advanced technical knowledge in the design and implementation of sewer and water assets capable of resolving complicated technical issues.Role responsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide advanced engineering development assessment and quality assurance services to the Water Development Services Assessment Team within the Logan Water Development Services Program.Elements of the role include:Expert knowledge and experience in water and wastewater development engineering assessment.Has a keen eye for detail and can lead the implementation and management of Infrastructure Agreements.Lead and implement business development opportunities and process improvement.Strong written and verbal communication skills and conflict resolution skills.The role is accountable for assessing technically complex development proposals and providing development assessment documentation.The ability to work autonomously with little oversight and thrive in a team environment.To be successful in this position, the applicant must have:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering acceptable for Engineers Australia Membership at the grade of Member is required.
