You will be part of Insights, a team that provides leadership and coordination of evidence-based advice to shape and inform strategy and reform across the housing portfolio. Your role will ensure that decisions and policies are grounded in robust data, research, and analysis, driving innovation and effective outcomes. As part of a small, dynamic team, you will work closely with colleagues in the Policy, Performance, and First Nations division and other departmental teams to deliver strategic policy projects and initiatives that address key challenges in the housing sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertaking research, evaluation and data analysis designed to provide evidence that shapes strategic policy thinking.Communicating effectively with other professionals, internal and external stakeholders across the department.Preparing proposals, recommendations, submissions and briefing papers of a complex nature.Providing professional, authoritative and timely strategic advice to senior management on research and data issues of a complex nature.Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
