Your impact
The purpose of this role is to provide technically defensible and innovative dams engineering services to clients.
The aim is to build a reputation across ANZ as an industry leader both as an individual and as a resilient team.
The role will be required to write proposals for, win, and lead both complex and smaller dams engineering projects, as well as work collaboratively with other disciplines on projects led by other disciplines.
You will have experience in leading the analysis, design, and reporting for various geotechnical projects in accordance with relevant Authority Standards/Australian Standards relating to:
Dam and embankment inspections and reporting, compliant with ANCOLD guidelinesAnalysis of instrumentation related to dams and interpretation of the results in relation to dam safetyDam and embankment stability analysesSeismic and static liquefaction analysesFoundation analyses and designGeotechnical test data interpretationTechnical report writingHere's what you'll need
Key requirements include:
Degree in EngineeringStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to lead a range of complex hydrology and catchment modelling projectsAbility to work collaboratively to provide specialist hydrological support to other technical disciplines within JacobsLiaison with clients, stakeholders, and regulators to support technical deliveryCoaching and mentoring of junior team members to assist in building a high performing teamPresenting information to stakeholders in meetings in a concise and effective mannerAuthoring complex assessments/reportsUndertaking quality assurance processes, including undertaking technical review of project deliverables.Locations
