With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.ContextThe Opportunity:The role of Principal Telecommunications Engineer is to ensure that the company has sufficient capable and competent engineering and technical resources to deliver Communications and Operational Technology projects as well as the technology, processes and procedures to support these.The role is based at our Sydney CBD location, and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.Missions/Main DutiesEnsuring sufficient capable and competent Communications, OT engineering, design, and technical resources are available to support Rail Systems projects, including:Review and approve designs to legislated, industry, and client specifications.Provide in-depth expertise in more than one specialist area for GSM-R network upgrades, changes, and faults.Direct the production and provide continual support for standards and procedures.Develop and maintain project specific Engineering Management plans.Ensure full compliance of the RSA engineering processes with ISO9001:2008 and other standards as appropriate.Provide input on relevant bids and tenders that are being undertaken by the bid team.Profile/SkillsAbout You:This is our desired list of qualifications and experience.
