The changing climate will present unprecedented risks and shifts in business models as companies adapt to meet the needs of climate-impacted consumers and markets. Whether advising on strategies that respond to the decarbonising economy, or building resilience in the face of warming and more volatile weather, ERM Energetics seeks Principal Consultants who are energised to help businesses address the climate challenge and have experience integrating climate strategy into sustainability, risk management and corporate processes.You will work with clients as a subject matter expert. As a project manager you will lead teams, manage the project budget and be a trusted advisor.What Do I Need to Be Successful in This Role?
We are seeking a candidate with the following three
pre-requisite requirements:5-10 years' experience in climate risk and strategy, including physical/transition risk assessment, scenario analysis, financial analysis and adaptation strategy.Extensive experience in leading project teams on end-to-end project delivery, including stakeholder facilitation, executive presentations and quality assurance.High level of familiarity and proven experience with climate disclosure regimes, including TCFD, ASRS, CSRD.Preferred requirements
are:Well-developed understanding of the drivers of business' response to climate change – local and global policy settings, the expectations of the investment community, the requirements of regulators, the rise of climate litigation, technological innovation, social licence and the concerns of communities, employees, and customers.Experience in commercial strategy and business transformation.Business development acumen and the ability to manage client relationships.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with complex information and extract the most valuable insights.What Our Team Loves About Working Here
