Principal Consultant - Strategic Projects Branch: Curriculum, Assessment and Strategic Policy Division: School Curriculum and Standards Salary: Level 7, $128,077 - $136,891 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022) This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP up until the end of June 2027. The School Curriculum and Standards Division provides administrative and secretariat services for, and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority). The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society. The Role The Principal Consultant, Strategic Projects will demonstrate proven ability to plan, facilitate and monitor complex projects, and ensure deliverables are met within the internal timeframe. The position supports collaborative processes between school systems/sectors, schools and other stakeholder organisations to share and generate ideas and monitor and review implementation processes. The position requires an individual with strong project management and organisational skills, good written communication skills, and experience developing procedural documents and establishing timelines. Experience using Microsoft Project would be an advantage. This position will work with the Assistant Executive Director – Curriculum, Assessment and Strategic Policy, the Director – Curriculum and Assessment and curriculum and assessment managers across a range of teams within the Authority as well as with consultative groups.
