About Us The Department of the Premier and Cabinet supports the Premier as head of the Western Australian Government.
The Department is a central agency that leads the public sector in providing advice and support to the Premier and Cabinet in their service of the Western Australian Community.

About the Role The Governance and Strategy Directorate manages the Department's corporate governance and risk exposure.
It provides a range of critical functions including the oversight and coordination of the Department's governance, audit and risk management, business continuity planning, and performance reporting.
It also oversees the monitoring and implementation of the strategic management framework.
The directorate operates at whole-of-agency level and works across activities and projects that target good governance and risk practices.
The Principal Consultant Governance and Strategy manages the development and delivery of key projects, activities, and practices, including the Department's Annual Report, Strategic and Corporate Plans, performance reporting, and internal policy framework.
This role works collaboratively to seek continuous improvement opportunities in the delivery of our services.
