As a Principal Data and AI Consultant at Cevo, you'll need a combination of technical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
7+ years in a hands-on role in the data and technology industryExperience in data architecture and solution design for modern data platformsRecent extensive experience in Data Engineering, stretching into AI and MLPrevious Consulting experience within enterprise environments2+ years' experience in a senior hands-on data engineering role, leading technical teamsYou hold AWS Certifications in:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – ProfessionalAWS Certified Machine Learning – SpecialtyAWS Certified Data Analytics - SpecialtyDesired skills would include:
AWS Expertise:
Proficiency in AWS data, analytics, and AI/ML services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Bedrock and Amazon Q.Hands-on experience with designing and implementing large-scale, distributed data platforms and AI/ML models on AWS.Data Engineering and Architecture:
Strong background in data engineering, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.Experience with data architecture, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.Machine Learning and AI:
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with AWS services.Ability to build, train, and deploy machine learning models on AWS.Business Acumen:
Ability to connect data, analytics, and AI solutions to measurable business outcomes.Experience in developing data strategies that align with business goals.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex data-related problems.Ability to design scalable and cost-effective solutions.Customer Engagement:
