Job Description AECOM's Advisory team is looking for highly motivated and experienced Principal Consultant to join our team based in Perth.
Our team contributes to the planning and evaluation of projects, primarily in transport, but with a growing focus on the energy and water sectors.
We are looking for an agile individual with experience in business case development and appraisal who loves analysing and problem solving, and who values excellent client service.
Along the way you will be challenged, gain understanding of how our business operates and work with a motivated leadership team.
What we need you to achieve: Delivering advisory services including business case development, project assurance and appraisal, strategic advice, feasibility advice and infrastructure prioritisation Developing reports and presentations to communicate findings to a range of stakeholders, including government and private clients in a variety of sectors Leading and managing projects so that projects are delivered on time, to scope and to budget with sound and reliable outcomes.
Leading proposals and other business development activities to support the Infrastructure Advisory and wider AECOM teams Qualifications About you Strong technical experience in a role advising government clients on business cases, project assurance and evaluation; Demonstrable experience in business case development, project assurance and evaluation.
A technical background in transport engineering/planning would be advantageous Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to clearly and effectively report technical outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders from different backgrounds to communicate complex concepts in a way that everyone understands Understand the requirements of WA and Federal government funding processes such as business case development and applications.
Strong presentation and organisational skills, and willingness to articulate analytical outcomes and options to clients, stakeholders and project team partners Demonstrated experience in the management of projects and meeting delivery requirements.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensure that the needs of clients are understood and met Experience working within consulting is ideal, although government or other relevant sectors may be suitable.
