Key Responsibilities: Investigate and Monitor: Review compliance cases to identify breaches of the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and decide on appropriate risk mitigation actions.Legal Referrals: Prepare and approve referrals to the Queensland Police Service for prosecution of non-complex offences under the Act.Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on documents and actions, providing constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities.Collaboration: Work with Compliance leadership and external stakeholders, including the Queensland Police Service, to identify and implement business improvements.Education and Training: Provide training on the blue card system to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with monitoring, auditing, and enforcement provisions.Representation: Represent Blue Card Services in court matters, interagency forums, and committees, contributing to government groups focused on children's rights and well-being.Expert Advice: Offer high-level advice on the blue card system and compliance obligations to various stakeholders.Why Join Us?
