ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, coaching and development to direct reports within the Communications team, workflow management and professional development.Interpret complex information and understand the internal and external environments to develop high-quality and engaging communication and stakeholder materials for a variety of audiences.Cultivate an innovative and creative approach to external and internal communications.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with senior leaders across the agency, confidently providing strategic advice and leveraging relationships to maximise the impact of communication plans.Work collaboratively as part of a busy multi-disciplinary team, delivering results effectively with fellow communication, events, multimedia, digital and social media specialists.Deliver high-quality communication material and collateral in support of the QBCC's strategic objectives.Prepare submissions, reports, briefing material and general correspondence for senior management.Monitor and evaluate the impact on internal communications and make recommendations and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns and activities.Candidate Attributes5+ years in a communications role with experience in leading a team within an organisation that has a geographically dispersed workforce.Qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent is desired.Significant experience in the development and delivery of a range of communication and engagement strategies, events and training initiatives.Sound organisational skills and ability to meet flexible and demanding short-term deadlines while maintaining discipline over delivery of ongoing work.Previous experience managing internal engagement platforms (e.g Intranet) and CRM systems.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.A positive, analytical and proactive approach to resolving problems and identifying improvement opportunities.How to apply Please submit:
