About the opportunity Reporting to the Managing Director, as the Principal Communication Advisor you will play a pivotal role in shaping Westgold's external and internal communications. This role includes but will not be limited to: Internal & External Communications: Creating and delivering organisation-wide internal communications in a variety of formats, written and visual.Assist in keeping strategic messaging current and relevant and supporting the communications team to keep the company website up to date.Digital Marketing and Social Media: Lead the organisation's digital strategy, including website management, social media, and digital marketing efforts to establish and maintain a strong online presence.Manage social media calendar to ensure all messaging and campaigns are delivered with maximum impact and regularity.Continuously look for opportunities to grow our current audience by optimising on post-performance, platform insight and analytics, customer insight, content and platform trends.Brand and Content Management: Maintain consistent brand standards across the organisation, acting as a brand champion and overseeing the production of marketing materials and other branded content.Monitor social media analytics to measure campaign performance.Monitor brand reputation online and address any negative sentiment or misinformation.Media and Community Engagement: Develop and implement a comprehensive external communications strategy to enhance community trust and visibility, working closely with senior leaders.Provide proactive media support and effective responses to key issues.Build strong working relationships with media contacts to ensure key messages are accurately reflected in media coverage.Fielding and managing media and community enquiries.Assist with the drafting and reviewing of key external communication: Quarterly Reports, Half and Full Year results, Annual Reports, Sustainability Reports, Financial and Remuneration Reports and related ASX releases.Prepare presentations to be delivered by senior management at investment conferences and financial results roadshows to the investment community, coverage analysts and media.Contribute to SharePoint Intranet Management, content writing, editing and site maintenance.What do I need? Hold a relevant qualification in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or similar (or the equivalent experience).Experience in producing internal and external communications materials.Experience in a similar role preferably with an ASX listed company or within the mining and resources industry.Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.The Westgold Offer: A range of benefits including:
