Job DescriptionAECOM's Water Infrastructure/Civil team is looking for a Principal (or higher) level Engineer ideally with 10 years' experience to join their team in Townsville (Queensland). You will join a high-performing, close-knit team consisting of engineers, designers, and scientists to work on a range of projects within the Water infrastructure space.What will a day in this role look like:Work on a variety of water infrastructure projects including pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water & wastewater treatment infrastructure. You will assume responsibility for managing the commercial aspects of projects from the business development stage through concept development to detail design and construction stages. Assume a technical lead role on projects with support from various specialists within the AECOM resource pool. Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline. Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget. Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors such as regional councils and resources sectors.QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.What are we looking for from you?Relevant tertiary qualifications and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) / Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or be eligible for registration. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements in the water infrastructure industry. A future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation. Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business. Ability to and an interest in guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
