Job Description AECOM is seeking a dedicated Senior or Principal level Civil Engineer / Construction Project Engineer to join our Project and Programme Management team. This role involves ensuring that construction projects are completed according to approved designs and specifications, with a strong emphasis on safety.
What will a day in this role look like: Oversee and administer major infrastructure projects, establishing and enforcing project-specific objectives and procedures. Provide technical direction and guidance to the site team, ensuring all project facets are constructed per design and specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining close client and contractor interfaces. Contract Administration using either AS4000, AS2124, AS4902, TIC-CO etc. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. What are we looking for from you? Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Project management experience. A minimum of 5-10 years of on-site experience with major infrastructure projects. Ability to manage complex and sensitive consultations with clients and contractors. Understanding of various engineering disciplines, including Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical. Chartered Engineer status is preferable.
