With a portfolio that spans solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) they are playing a key role in achieving Australia's NetZero ambitions.The OpportunityAs a Principal Civil Engineer, you will take a leadership role in the design and development of critical power infrastructure projects, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of renewable energy assets. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Development, you will apply your expertise in geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering to oversee the design, review geotechnical data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver key projects. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects that are vital to Australia's renewable energy future.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop power infrastructure projects (solar, wind, BESS, and firming GPG) using geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering principles.Review geotechnical reports and data to advise on optimal design principles for power generation assets.Oversee the design of civil works including earthworks, roads, hardstands, and benches for power generation and transmission assets.Conduct structural analyses and inspections to ensure safety and durability of structures.Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to execute engineering plans.Monitor project execution, adjusting designs as needed to meet project goals.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.About YouTo thrive in this role, you will need:Tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with corporate membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent experience (mandatory).Have experienced end-to-end delivery of a Wind and Solar project.Certifications such as RPEQ, RPEV, or CPEng (desired).Extensive experience applying geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering principles within the energy or related industries.In-depth knowledge of Australian codes and statutory requirements.Strong project leadership and collaboration skills, with a passion for innovation in renewable energy infrastructure.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about Australia's energy transition and want to lead impactful civil engineering projects, click 'Apply' to submit your current resume.
