The Principal Business Change Officer will work with a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing defined finance related system and process solutions across the Health System. Through exceptional communication, the Principal Business Change Officer will provide the strategic advice that is required to influence senior executives and drive process improvement strategies that support the capability uplift of staff and access to improved finance processes across the Department and Hospital and Health Services.

The successful candidate will manage business change activities across the Employee Expense Project, including business change management, benefits realisation, communications, stakeholder engagement and training.
Role fitThe essential requirements for this role are:
Proven experience in the development, documentation, implementation, and evaluation of business change in ICT projects within a healthcare environment, using appropriate industry standards and techniques.Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multi-disciplinary team.Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.Proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.We are all leaders in the Department of Health, regardless of role or classification level.
