Assists with the management, planning and leading of the budget and financial riskmanagement functions ofWACHS in support of organizational goals, including:Provision of expert budget strategy, funding and management services and advice to WACHS stakeholders;Analysis of proposed initiatives, business performance and environmental drivers to identify and mitigate areas of budgetary risk;Development, implementation and monitoring of strategies to minimise exposure to budgetary risk;Development, implementation, monitoring and review of cost modelling and business analysis reporting tools and packages ; andAnalysis of WACHS financial and related performance and trends; and provision of timely, accurate and useful advice and analytical reports to WACHS stakeholders.Area Profile:The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of thebiggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
