WA Country Health Service – Central Office Closing Date: AWST 4.00PM Friday 20 December 2024 Permanent Full Time Position Profile: Provides expert support and advice to Manager Budget Strategy and Risk Management, including deputising when required. Assists with the management, planning and leading of the budget and financial riskmanagement functions ofWACHS in support of organizational goals, including:
Provision of expert budget strategy, funding and management services and advice to WACHS stakeholders;Analysis of proposed initiatives, business performance and environmental drivers to identify and mitigate areas of budgetary risk;Development, implementation and monitoring of strategies to minimise exposure to budgetary risk;Development, implementation, monitoring and review of cost modelling and business analysis reporting tools and packages ; andAnalysis of WACHS financial and related performance and trends; and provision of timely, accurate and useful advice and analytical reports to WACHS stakeholders.Area Profile:The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of thebiggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
