An exciting opportunity exists to provide the strategic leadership and guidance to the Departments approach to behaviour support across our education system. As the Principal Behaviour Support Adviser, you will spearhead the Department's approach to behaviour support, restraint, and seclusion in schools. Your leadership will guide the strategic vision for supporting evidence-based practice across our education system.
Key Responsibilities: Expert Advice: Provide authoritative advice to senior leaders on behaviour support, restraint, and broader clinical issues.Strategic Vision: Develop high level strategies and policy, using evidence, consultation, and awareness of current and emerging issues.Lead with Influence: Drive the development and adoption of behaviour support strategies.Proactive Leadership: Identify and act on opportunities to improve outcomes.Adaptability: Navigate changing priorities and new ideas with ease.People Management: Develop and manage a high-performing team.Policy Development: Revise and establish policies using evidence-based practices.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.Project Leadership: Oversee multiple projects with financial responsibility.Why This Role?
