Job duration: ASAP until 30 June 2025 with possible extension.
In this key role, you will lead the development and implementation of communication and engagement strategies that foster strong relationships with stakeholders and support the delivery of integrated, sustainable transport services across Queensland.
Your Role: As the Principal Advisor, you will provide high-level strategic advice and support to senior leadership, driving the development, delivery, and evaluation of impactful communication and engagement strategies.
You will lead initiatives that foster strong relationships, navigate sensitive issues, and keep stakeholders informed about vital transport updates.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing complex communication and engagement strategies.
• Building and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Providing strategic leadership and advice on challenging communication issues.
• Managing stakeholder-related tasks, from forums and campaigns to digital content and social media.
About You: You're a passionate communications professional with:
• Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement and communication activities such as educational campaigns, social media, and e-newsletters.
• A knack for creating and implementing engagement strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
• The ability to refine existing communication practices and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
• A strong track record of delivering cohesive content across digital platforms.
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
