Principal Advisor - Safety Systems and ReportingPolicy, Planning & Regulation (Government & Defence)Full timeAn exciting opportunity to provide leadership and support to the operations and infrastructure team undertaking analysis, design and review of safety related systems and policies as the Principal Advisor on safety systems and reporting.Key responsibilities for this role:Lead and participate in teams involved in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for infrastructure safety related services.Provide high level safety advice to division management and senior executive, Regional Directors and Principals on a broad range of issues.Participate and lead a team to develop, implement, maintain and review reporting and assurance frameworks that support the strategic direction of the department for a range of infrastructure safety issues.Establish and maintain strategic networks to advance the department's systems and databases to identify, define and analyse best practice approaches to support a range of infrastructure safety related services.Lead the analysis of safety trends and issues and develop proactive safety awareness material in conjunction with the relevant business units.Prepare Ministerial reports and briefing materials on a range of infrastructure safety issues.Contribute to the development of team members by providing guidance and support, including on the job training.Regularly liaise with stakeholder groups to ensure services managed by the unit/team(s) meet their needs.If this role is of interest to you or you would like more information please reach out to Alison Detaille at ****** or simply click on apply.
