Principal Advisor (Rail Contracts Management) Skip to content Principal Advisor (Rail Contracts Management) Government - State (Government & Defence) Some of your responsibilities will include:Management of large-scale complex performance-based rail service contracts, ensuring that all parties' obligations are met through the adaptation and implementation of contract management frameworks.Proactively analysing and providing resolutions to strategic contract issues to support the achievement of transport objectives and government outcomes.Consulting, collaborating, and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders and representing the department at various forums such as Contract Management meetings.Providing expert advice and preparing complex ministerial correspondence, performance reports, briefing notes, cabinet submissions and other general correspondence on behalf of the Minister, Director-General, Deputy Director(1)General, General Manager and Executive Director.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/600533/24Closing Date: Tuesday, 12 November 2024The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is a diverse organisation made up of more than 11,500 employees representing 80 occupational groups across Queensland.We provide reliable, resilient and responsive transport networks and digital services that are safe and accessible for everyone.
