As Principal Advisor, you will be a critical confidant to the Director, and Deputy Director-General (DDG) Tourism Division, providing executive advisory services, issues management, and wider communications in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment to ensure delivery of priority projects and business as usual.
More Specifically, You Will
Undertake specific short projects, analysis and research on hot and immediate issues of a diverse nature working closely with the Director, ODDG and divisional teams Support the Director and DDG with internal and external communications ensuring the provision of high quality, timely executive advisory services including correspondence and briefing materials Support the development, roll-out and tracking of the Division's business plan with a focus on engagement and achievement of milestones and KPIs Provide the Director, DDG and General Managers with frontline insights and temperature checks on projects, people and mood across the division, and lead activities that address and improve team engagement, health and welfare Oversee divisional governance schedules and administrate weekly senior executive meetings, coordinating attendees, guests, distribution of agendas, followup actions, reports and submissions Maintain strong networks with Tourism business units, Office of the Director General, and other ODDGs.
The successful candidate will work on the delivery of tasks and projects across a broad range of internal and outward facing priorities.
You will display exceptional organisational and project management skills, and exemplary communication skills both written and verbal, with professional
communications experience an advantage.
