Join our dynamic team as the Principal Advisor, where you'll provide business management and administrative support to the Chief Contracts Officer and the technical streams of Contract Strategy, Contract Development and Contract Management. Your role will be to lead business support functions across a myriad of areas, including operational, reporting, records management, financial, communications and human resources activities, as well as to assist with the preparation, drafting and publishing of a range of document types.Key responsibilities:• Monitor, review and co-ordinate correspondence into and out of Contract Services with external and internal stakeholders, including ensuring efficient and timely responses are provided.• Manage and maintain Contract Services' outgoing stakeholder communications, including published web content.• Support sound governance by developing, managing and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, protocols and risk management requirements that support the functions and activities of Contract Services.• Create and maintain detailed and accurate records and reports, including about the procurement, contract development and contract management matters managed by Contract Services.• Lead business support functions across a myriad of areas, including operational, reporting, records management, financial, communications and human resource administration activities.• Support the delivery of advice and services in relation to the procurement, contract development and contract management matters managed by Contract Services, as well as assist with the preparation and drafting of correspondence, briefs, reports, advice, submissions, publications, accounting summaries and the like.What we are looking for:• Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.• Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills, with ability to produce accurate, sound, well-structured, clearly articulated and timely documentation.• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively without compromising relationships.• Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, manage priorities and respond effectively to changing deadlines.• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small, high performing team.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.
