Policy, Planning & Regulation, Government - State (Government & Defence)In the role of Principal Advisor (Corridor Management), you will contribute to the management and protection of road corridors of the state-controlled road network within the South Coast Region through the provision of specialist technical advice and project management. Working across a range of significant corridor management projects, you will provide complex advice and recommendations to senior management, technical specialists, and project teams on corridor management, development assessments, and protection of state-controlled road corridors.Some of your responsibilities will include:Lead, mentor, and actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement and ensure that timely responses, based on technical standards, are provided.Be proactive in identifying and/or seizing opportunities and providing advice for coordinating private and public sector developments with other transport infrastructure projects and programs to ensure integrated transport outcomes are achieved.Represent the department as required in complex dealings with various stakeholder groups to improve co-operation, co-ordination, and transfer of knowledge for the benefit of transport infrastructure and development programs and projects.Manage the development and effectiveness of the Project Planning and Corridor Management Unit's activities and projects to address policy, administrative, and funding issues that impact transport infrastructure and development across the region.We celebrate diversity in creating a workplace culture that is built on respect, dignity, and fairness.
