We're looking for a proactive, lateral thinker with demonstrated project management skills to dive into our Principal Advisor (Business Improvement) role. You will use your exceptional engagement skills to build and maintain effective relationships across our department to drive the delivery of collaborative, customer-focused outcomes for Customer Services Branch.
Join our Business Improvement team to drive innovation and support the Customer Services Branch business units to identify, implement, evaluate and celebrate continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will do:
In your role, you will:

Lead and manage the development of project documentation and engagement of appropriately skilled staff to deliver project and business outcomes. Project manage and/or coordinate project leaders to ensure individual projects meet specifications, utilise the appropriate frameworks and use best practice methodologies. Establish and maintain on-going communication and effective relationships with stakeholder groups including project governance boards, business units, IT and policy branches and other areas of Customer Services Branch. Liaise and consult with the training and change function of the Branch to ensure appropriate change management strategies are implemented to ensure project and business impacts are effectively managed. Assist the Manager (Business Improvement) with supervisory activities for the Business Improvement team, providing a safe work environment that encourages commitment, continuous improvement, quality service and a focus on stakeholder needs. Who we are looking for:
An individual with:

Tertiary qualifications in business management or related discipline - for example, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Diploma certificate. Demonstrated experience in project management, quality management, governance, business improvement, organizational change, and facilitation. Demonstrated ability to make insightful and courageous decisions by applying critical and lateral thinking. Ability to communicate in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders and articulates in a non-technical manner. Develops and sustains relationships with leaders and employees to a high standard, enabling the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes for the program. Demonstrates a high level of accountability for the execution and quality of results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency.
