Environment Protection Authority Job reference: 641880 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone Ongoing Contract About the Role The Principal Adviser Emissions Reduction will be a technical specialist responsible for the provision of technical advice for climate change related assessments, regulated activity and projects with a focus on greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
The Principal Adviser Emissions Reduction will work within a dynamic environment to manage regulatory issues of a complex nature by leading, investigating, and providing site-based expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on climate mitigation responses and controls or compliance matters with respect to greenhouse gas emissions.
The Principal Adviser Emissions Reduction will contribute to the development, management and maintenance of specialist projects and support EPA's role in developing and executing climate change policy and regulation and in implementing its strategic priorities.
This role may provide leadership and guidance for two newly established climate change risk assessment and advice positions.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemical and/or environmental engineering, or other relevant qualification.Post graduate qualification in environmental engineering or an environmental science, earth science, or environmental management related field.Remuneration PO4 ($110,696 - $120,470 per annum) or PO5 ($124,449 - $130,253 per annum) + 11.5% super added to your choice of super fund.
The incumbent will be remunerated at either the PO4 or PO5 level depending on their education, experience, and capabilities. Application Instructions
