Principal Adviser Climate Change Adaptation

About the Role
The Principal Adviser Climate Change Adaptation will be a technical specialist responsible for the provision of technical advice for climate change related assessments and projects.
The Principal Adviser Climate Change Adaptation will work within a dynamic environment to establish the functionality of the role and manage regulatory issues of a complex nature by leading, investigating, and providing expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on site and/or neighbourhood or regional based risk assessment, climate adaptation responses and controls or compliance matters with respect to climate change adaptation and preparedness.
The Principal Adviser Climate Change Adaptation will contribute to the development, management and maintenance of specialist projects and support EPA's role in Climate Change and in executing its strategic priorities.
This role may also provide leadership and guidance for two newly established climate change risk assessment and advice positions.
A key focus of the role is to establish and embed climate change resilience technical assessments and responses within EPA business as usual, including uplift of knowledge across EPA business and stakeholders.

Remuneration
PO5 ($124,449- $130,253 per annum) + 11.5% super added to your choice of super fund.
Essential Qualification
Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering.
