About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and
experienced Senior Civil Engineer
with experience in
Bulk Earthworks
to join this growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing engineering and quality aspects of diverse civil projects, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring project success. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of quality standards, managing resources, and ensuring smooth communication with both the project team and clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain quality control documentation and registers to meet project specifications.
Develop and update construction programs to reflect the project's current status.
Manage the quantification, procurement, and timely delivery of materials.
Prepare and submit unforeseen contract variations as needed.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure resource allocation meets site production requirements.
Ensure accurate interpretation and application of design drawings and specifications.
Oversee and verify the scope of work for subcontractors.
Maintain consistent, positive communication with project supervisors and client representatives.
Participate in project meetings with clients when required.
Conduct quantity/volume analyses and assist with tender submissions.
Experience & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a
minimum of 3 years' experience
in the civil construction industry - bulk earthworks experience favorable.
Proven ability to manage engineering and quality aspects of complex projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional planning, process efficiency, and time management abilities.
Experience with survey equipment and software, including AutoCAD and 3D modeling programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
