About the Role As a Primary Years Teacher at Good News Lutheran College, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. You will create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning styles and backgrounds while fostering academic and personal growth. You will collaborate with colleagues, develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects. Regular assessment and monitoring of student progress, coupled with providing constructive feedback, will be crucial to enhancing learning outcomes. Additionally, you will maintain effective communication with students, parents, and the broader school community, and actively contribute to the school's Christian-Lutheran ethos through participation in faith-based activities and community initiatives.
Selection Criteria Bachelor's degree in Education (Primary) or a related field. VIT Teaching Registration. Experience teaching within the IB PYP framework is highly desirable. Strong commitment to Lutheran values and the integration of faith in educational practice. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Special Requirements All selected applicants will have to go through background checks, including reference checks and relevant regulatory checks.
