The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.286) Primary Teacher – LOTE Chinese to commence in October 2024. With a background in teaching language, you can effectively engage students with interactive lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding. We are looking for applicants who have a commitment to our College values and have a demonstrated ability to encourage, educate, and equip our students in achieving their personal best.
The successful applicant must: Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement. Demonstrate experience teaching Mandarin to primary-aged students. Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education. Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities. Have high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
