Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney.

About the role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed teachers to fulfil the temporary full-time role of Primary Teacher in our Primary School.
This position is designed to cover parental leave, starting on 15 July 2024, with an expected duration of a one-year contract.
Both experienced teachers and new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.

Primary School Teachers at our school are valued members of our Kindergarten-Year 6 teaching team.
In collaboration with Year Team members and the Stage Coordinator, this role focuses on creating and sustaining an optimal learning environment, effective assessment and evaluation practices, clear reporting, fostering positive interpersonal relationships, ensuring child safety and welfare, and implementing appropriate discipline procedures.
This position is accountable to the Assistant Head and Head of Primary in all areas of teaching and curriculum development.

Have enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences Have a passion for Christian Education Be confident in the use of technology in the classroom Be a curious and tenacious learner with a passion for motivating students to be likewise Desire to engage in a dynamic staff learning environment where the honing of one's teaching practice is encouraged and facilitated Experience in teaching Stage 1 Integrated understanding of the interaction between one's faith and teaching Experience working in an educational setting Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
The successful applicant, therefore, will need to hold and maintain a valid NSW Working With Children Check in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 (NSW).
