About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Primary Teacher to join our team at our Meadow Springs Campus. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 1 2025. Frederick Irwin Anglican School welcomes applications from suitably qualified teachers.
Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher salaries are generally 2.5% above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.
Classroom and Specialist Teachers
Classroom teachers are required to present purposeful educational programmes to classes allocated to them on the school timetable, and to participate in the general life of the School.
Teachers must: Use a diverse range of teaching methods relevant to the activities, interests etc. of the studentsEstablish learning expectations for students which are clear, challenging and achievableUse ICT in the delivery of the teaching programme and as an administrative toolBuild a positive relationship with each student as an individualKeep an open dialogue with parents as to class activities, programmes and expectationsAttend, organise and assist with assemblies, special services, school and year level activities with the classProvide supervision for students who are participating in outdoor structured activities and during rostered play sessions; being able to respond in a timely manner to situations as they ariseWork with students in whole class, small group and individual situations, accommodating learning activities at various heights depending on the age and physical needs of the studentsPastoral Care
