Key duties: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum.Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.Skills & Experience: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.Have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration.Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia advantageous.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering: Starting as a full-time role in Term 1, 2025.Instructing students across F-6.Collaborating with approachable and transparent leadership and wider teaching team.Salary aligned with demonstrated expertise and time dedication.New facilities with combination closed and open classroom spaces.The School: Around 850 students spanning from Foundation to Grade 6.International Baccalaureate accredited school.An approachable management team and smaller team structures facilitating effective planning and support.Abundant opportunities for professional development.Excellent facilities and resources.How to apply: To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
