Woodleigh is currently seeking applications for a part time PE Teacher to be based at our Minimbah Junior campus in Frankston South. This is a Fixed Term position with an FTE of 0.8-0.9 covering a staff member on leave.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Delivering a specialist Physical Education program for all Primary School students at the campus, linking closely with classroom teachers to coordinate age appropriate programs to support the physical development, and strengthen the wellbeing of each child at the campus.Designing and implementing learning and teaching programs using knowledge of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.Developing teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities.Undertaking teaching from 4 Year Old Kindergarten - Year 6.Experience and Skills Must be able to demonstrate:
Experience as a primary school PE teacherAn understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with childrenRelevant classroom teaching experience or experience working with childrenExperience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be desirableConditions of Employment A VIT Registration is required for this positionQualification and First Aid/Anaphylaxis is required for this positionFurther information about Woodleigh can be found here .
