About the Opportunity Shepparton Christian College is seeking passionate educators for the roles of Secondary Maths Teacher and Primary Teacher based in Shepparton, VIC .
Both positions offer the chance to make a profound impact within our faith-driven community, fostering students' academic, social, and spiritual growth through Christian-centred teaching practices.
Key responsibilities for these roles include but are not limited to: Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
Employing innovative teaching strategies and integrating technology to enhance student outcomes.
Providing constructive assessments, feedback, and maintaining ongoing communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Contributing to co-curricular programmes and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects Christian values.
Upholding Shepparton Christian College's mission, vision, and faith-based ethos in all aspects of teaching and community engagement.
The Secondary Maths Teacher role specifically focuses on the delivery of the mathematics curriculum for secondary students, with the potential to include Science if required.
The Primary Teacher will guide and nurture Grade 5/6 students through their academic and spiritual journey.

Positions to commence Term 1, 2025 About You To be considered, you'll need a recognised teaching qualification and current VIT registration (or the ability to obtain).
We're looking for a  practising Christian with a strong faith, a collaborative and teachable approach, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
You should have aspirations for both your own growth and the development of your students.
Additionally, the following skills and experiences will be highly valued: Experience with lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management Evidence of recent professional development activities Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment Commitment to the College's mission, vision, and faith-based values Willingness to instil Christian values through the curriculum As our ideal candidate, you will be a passionate Christian educator, committed to partnering with families and churches to offer Christ-centred education and inspire students through the integration of faith and learning.
