About the Role
The role of the Primary School Receptionist is to support a learning environment for students.
This role also involves welcoming School community members and guests; the support and hospitality of the Primary School Reception; delivering a friendly, efficient, confidential and professional service always, both in person and on the telephone.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
Experience in a similar role, preferably within the education sector
Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Well-developed communication skills and attention to detail
An understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of matters involved in the role
Experience working in a small and busy team environment with the ability to work well under pressure
The ability to work independently, intuitively and flexibly
Proven experience establishing good working relationships with students, parents, staff and the school community
Administration and organisational skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
Previous experience utilising a database system, such as Synergetic, is highly regarded
All team members at CGS are required to have:
Appropriate qualifications
A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
A current National Police Check; and
Full working rights within Australia.
