Your role We are searching for a Program Coordinator. A Program Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the Hedland STEM program, based at South Hedland Primary School - selecting students from all Hedland schools. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Program Coordinator ensures programs meet the needs of students and the requirements of key stakeholders including parents, community, funding partners, and schools.
Starting in January 2025.
Your Responsibilities Recruitment and engagement of tutors for the Primary STEM program in partnership with the regional manager and HR team. Work closely with students and families and the Aboriginal community. Document and collect data relating to the program for reporting. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Primary STEM program, including supervision of casual staff. General administrative tasks relating to the Primary STEM program. Work in partnership with school staff and leadership to create, implement and deliver curricula for students within the program. Build and sustain community relationships. What you will bring Hold or be willing to obtain a current Working with Children's Check Hold a current driver's license Experience engaging and working with Aboriginal Communities Formal teaching degree or equivalent qualifications Understanding of funding partnerships and budgeting is required.
