Teaching - Primary (Education & Training) Are you a passionate primary music teacher looking for a permanent position starting in 2025? Tradewind are working with an independent, co-educational Christian school in the beautiful Northern Beaches who are looking for an enthusiastic Music teacher to join their team.
The Primary Music Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering music programs and coordinating the Primary Instrumental Program. Additionally, you will work alongside the Director of Music to facilitate co-curricular opportunities. Join this well-respected team in a full-time, permanent position starting term 1 2025.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills: Strong focus on Kodály and Orff approaches Experience working with children in K-6 within a collaborative school environment Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community service projects Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives Uphold and integrate the school's values and teachings within the educational framework A strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students Prerequisites: Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete) Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes) Have unrestricted working rights in Australia Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references Ability to provide a Christian Church reference The School: Around 1180 students from K-12 and around 100 teaching staff State-of-the art campus elevating the overall teaching and learning experience Why work with Tradewind?
