The Primary Music Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering music programs and coordinating the Primary Instrumental Program. Additionally, you will work alongside the Director of Music to facilitate co-curricular opportunities. Join this well-respected team in a full-time, permanent position starting term 1 2025.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills: A graduate qualification in Music EducationStrong focus on Kodály and Orff approachesExperience working with children in K-6 within a collaborative school environmentDevelop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculumEvaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedbackFoster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphereParticipate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community service projectsCollaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiativesUphold and integrate the school's values and teachings within the educational frameworkA strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of studentsPrerequisites: Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)Have unrestricted working rights in AustraliaAbility to provide contact details for two education-based referencesAbility to provide a Christian Church referenceThe School: Around 1180 students from K-12 and around 100 teaching staffState-of-the-art campus elevating the overall teaching and learning experienceProfessional development opportunitiesWhy work with Tradewind?
