Primary Mental Health Clinician Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a Primary Mental Health Clinician to make a meaningful impact, providing triage and therapy group services to individuals with mild to moderate mental health needs.
This is a 0.8 full-time equivalent position within the team, requiring four days of work per week, split across office, home, and clinic locations, with flexibility to work outside regular business hours and occasional travel within the Waikato region.
The aim of this role is to provide expert clinical skills, support Pinnacle practices, ensuring timely referral allocations and effective delivery of therapy groups.
This position will report directly to the Primary Mental Health - Clinical Lead (Waikato), working collaboratively to provide outstanding whanau centred services.
He korero mou: About you Registered health professional with a current practising certificateA post graduate qualification in mental health and addictions will be an advantage.While counselling qualifications are preferred, candidates with equivalent experience and qualifications in mental health may also be consideredProven clinical experience in mental health triage and group therapy deliveryExperienced in comprehensive data collection and assessmentProficient in Office 365 suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).A commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and knowledge of Te Reo Maori and Tikanga.Current full drivers' licence.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offer Shared values of:
