The Position Commencing Term One 2025 Temporary Full Time Position Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a co-educational systemic primary school with a population of approximately 400 students located in Wentworthville.

About the Opportunity: Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is seeking innovative teachers who want to make a difference in the life of the children they teach.
The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher capable of designing and delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view.

Position Criteria - The successful candidate will: Have a sound knowledge of, and commitment to, the Mission of the Catholic school and possess relevant Religious Education qualifications.
Have a high standard of competency and proficiency as a teacher and be familiar with best practice, especially in developing the literacy and numeracy skills of students with learning difficulties.
Demonstrate knowledge of how to use targeted feedback and data to inform teaching and learning in order to create differentiated teaching programs that cater for the needs of all students, especially vulnerable students.
Communicate and work collaboratively in teams to plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learning, including but not limited to individual student personalised plans.
Enable students to use information technology on a daily basis in order to enhance their learning.
Be committed to delivering a child-centred approach to education, where the students are actively engaged in the learning.
Be committed to ongoing professional learning as a member of a professional learning community.
Be willing to contribute to the broader aspects of school life.
Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community.
