We're looking for a Pricing and Partnerships Officer to join our growing team at Bargain Car Rentals Australia. The role is located at our national head office in the Hobart CBD with amazing views of the Hobart skyline, open plan workspace and great facilities. The role includes a small team and offers support to managers across the business.

About the Role:
In this role you will focus on a wide range of tasks relating to the Company's revenue and marketing strategy.
You will use data-driven pricing and marketing models, designed to resonate with target audiences and fortify the brand's market position.
You will have scope to strategically source new partnerships and manage existing relationships with external booking providers with a view to exceed fleet utilisation and revenue targets.
We're looking for someone who would be described as: Demonstrated ability to work to deadlinesKeen critical thinking skills and an inquisitive mindSociable and an engaging personality with an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersSelf-initiating and willing to take ownershipThe successful candidate will have experience and/or qualifications in the following areas: Partnerships Strong Networking Skills: Building and maintaining relationships with external partners is central to the role.Market Research and Analysis: Understanding market trends, customer behaviours, and competitor activities to identify the best partnerships.Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate favourable terms in partnerships while ensuring mutual benefits.Pricing Data Analysis: The ability to analyse large sets of data, including historical pricing, demand trends, customer behavior, and market conditions to set optimal pricing.Data Modelling: Proficiency in Excel, BI tools and SQL and the ability to create pricing models, run simulations, and analyse financial impact scenarios.Pricing Software and Tools: Familiarity with pricing optimisation software, revenue management systems (RMS), and other relevant tools that help automate and optimise pricing decisions.
